Update: A Special Congregational Meeting will be held on April 22 immediately following the 9:00am service to vote to call the recommended. pastoral candidate.
The Call Committee was officially activated by the Church Council at the April 2011 meeting. This committee met on May 4th and elected Greg Oehler as the chairperson and Dawn Bourgeois as the vice chairperson. Kathy Beyer volunteered to be the secretary. Other members of the committee are Rocky Janssen, Jill Minshew and Jim Schonaerts.
Pastor Mike Robinson, Assistant to the Bishop of the Southwest Texas Synod met with the Call Committee in May. He discussed the Call process and answered questions.
In October, the Call Committee received names of potential candidates from the Synod. The Call Committee is in the process of interviewing these candidates.
We ask for everyone to pray for the Call Committee to receive guidance from the Holy Spirit in their important endeavor.
