Special Congregational Meeting on Sunday
We will meet on March 14 after the 10:30 service to vote on the proposed Zion Early Head Start Preschool Program.
Lent and Holy Week Schedule
This year the St. Paul and Zion congregations will unite in a weekly Wednesday night Lenten Soup and Sandwich Supper and Worship. Our Lenten discipline will be Journeying Through Prayer. The supper will begin at 6:00pm. The service of Public Confession will follow in the Sanctuary at 7:00pm. Please take note of the schedule.
  • Feb 17th - Ash Wednesday Communion Services at 12 noon & 7:00pm.

  • Mar 3rd - "Prayer as Communion" by Rev. Michael Ensrude

  • Mar 17th - "Prayer as a Call to Worship" by Mr. Mark Hierholzer
  • Mar 24th - "Prayer as Commission" by Rev. Michael Ensrude

  • Palm Sunday - First Communion and Confirmation
  • Mar 29th - Prayer Breakfast at Holy Ghost at 7am
  • Mar 30th - Prayer Breakfast at Zion at 7am
  • Mar 31st - Prayer Breakfast at Bethany at 7am
  • Apr 1st - Maundy Thursday Service with Communion a 7pm
  • Apr 2nd - Good Friday Service at 10am and 7pm
  • Apr 4th -  Easter Sunrise Service on Cross Mountain at 6:30am
    Easter Services with Communion at 8am and 10:30am
    Continental Breakfast at 9am and Flowering of the Cross at 9:45am
Mid-Week Musical Offerings
Mark Hierholzer, organist and music director, will present Midweek Musical Offerings every Wednesday in the church sanctuary.
  • 12:15 pm - Hymn improvisation, based on a hymn and uses melodic and textual ideas from the hymn to create a new and extended piece of music.
  • 7:45 pm - Free improvisation, not based on any existing theme.
Zion to host "Dialogues and Dances"
Zion hosts the Dialogues and Dances programs in the Fellowship Hall on the second Saturday of each month. These programs are a vital part of Zion's mission to celebrate creativity. New works are featured each month-- music, poetry and visual art. Admission is free.
