Who are we?
Little Lambs Early Head Start is a program at Zion through the Center for New Communities. The mission of C4NC is to transform lives and neighbor- hoods by enhancing and expanding the ability of these groups to address the greatest challenges of the community.
The Little Lambs Early Head Start addresses a great need in the community of Fredericksburg: childcare for infant - 3 year old. This program will not only provide care, but also a learning-play curriculum for the children. The C4NC has made it possible to provide this resource to qualifying families on a free tuition basis. The Early Head Start will also be doing outreach to pregnant mothers and prospective families before their child is born.
Christine Burdick of Fredericksburg, has been hired as the new Early Head Start Director! She has many years of experience supervising schools and teachers. Questions about jobs or the Head Start program can be directed to her and her staff. Their offices are located in the to the left of the atrium of the Zion fellowship hall.
