Zion presents the story of the Jesse Tree
Give yourself a treat this busy holiday season by coming to Advent by Candlelight, where the story of the Jesse Tree will be retold with Scripture readings, Advent hymns, and a power point presentation. You will hear about God’s faithfulness in keeping his promises to the Israelite slaves in Egypt; to a nation in Exile in Babylon and to a people yearning for a Messiah. This inspiring evening is presented by the Women of Zion Lutheran Church, under the direction of Jerri Striegler and Deborah Vanicek. Refreshments will be served. The public is encouraged to attend this event on Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 PM at Zion’s Fellowship Hall.
