May Mission Focus
Our Little Lambs Early Head Start Preschool is the Special Concern for the month of May. We are so blessed to have these children and the very skilled and loving staff members who care for them.
Zion Lutheran has been a community of faith serving the Hill Country of Texas since 1852. Mission has been central to Zion for over 150 years, and this tradition continues today with our strong music program, our new Early Head Start School, our new Youth and Family Center, and the growing joint ministry with the nearby rural congregation of St. Paul Lutheran. Zion Lutheran is also a Stephen Ministry congregation.
We are in partnership with the 10,396 congregations, 26 Lutheran colleges and universities, 8 seminaries, 450 global missionaries, 145 camps, and one of the largest non-profit social service networks in the United States; as well as Lutheran World Relief (LWR). All are ministries of the 4.5 million member Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
